Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol lead Dharma Productions' 'Sarzameen', teaser out

JioHotstar announced the title of Dharma Productions' new film, ‘Sarzameen,’ along with a caption saying, “Sarzameen ki salamati se badhkar kuch nahi.” The film is all set to stream on Jio Hotstar on July 25.
The teaser gives us a glimpse into the story set in Kashmir. Prithviraj plays the role of a soldier alongside Kajol, who plays his wife. Ibrahim Ali Khan is back after his debut film Nadaniyaan, but in a different character — he is set to play the film's antagonist. His new look has got fans excited.
Fans are pouring their love towards the star cast and are super excited for the film. “This type of film deserves a theatrical release,” said one fan.
The film is directed by Kayoze Irani, son of actor Boman Irani. His last directorial was ‘Ankahi’, a short film in the Netflix film Ajeeb Daastaans. He also worked as an associate director on the Kartik Aaryan film Dhamaka.
Prithviraj's last Hindi outing was in Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan, opposite Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. He played the film's principal antagonist. The actor, also a filmmaker in his own right, made his Hindi debut with Aiyya, with Rani Mukerji in 2012. His other Hindi films include Naam Shabana (co-starring Taapsee) and Aurangzeb (led by Arjun Kapoor).
Meanwhile, Kajol has a new film out in theatres — the supernatural thriller Maa.
