Bajaj, Hero, TVS, Honda, Royal Enfield: How many vehicles did each two-wheeler brand sell in June?

In June, automaker Bajaj Auto saw a 1 per cent growth in total sales (including exports). Meanwhile, market rival Hero MotoCorp saw a 10 per cent jump in sales, and TVS Motor sold 20 per cent more than it did a year ago in June.

Bajaj Auto sold a total of 3,60,806 units in June 2025 vs 3,58,477 vehicles a year ago. Among them, total domestic sales saw a 13 per cent dip to 1,88,460 units. This included commercial vehicles.

Hero MotoCorp’s total sales was up by 10 per cent to 5,53,963 units in June 2025. Last year, it sold 5,03,448 units in the same month. However, their domestic sales rose to 5,25,136 units vs 4,91,416 units a year ago.

TVS Motor Company saw its sales soar by 20 per cent to hit 4,02,001 units in June, vs 3,33,646 units a year ago. Out of this, domestic two-wheelers alone saw a 10 per cent jump in sales, 2,81,012 units.

While the three major names saw significant growth, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) saw a massive 17 per cent slide in total sales to 4,29,147 units. Back in June 2024, it sold 5,18,799 units. The Activa-maker suffered in the domestic market, only selling 3,88,812 units last month vs the 4,82,597 units it sold in the same month a year ago.

The other major player in the Indian two-wheeler industry, Royal Enfield, saw its sales jump by 22 per cent to 89,540 units in June 2025. Out of them, domestic sales rose 16 per cent to 76,957 units. The brand sells motorbikes and does not have any scooters on offer, unlike the rest.
