Speeding truck hits police patrol car in West Bengal's Midnapore; 2 cops dead, 1 injured

In East Midnapore, a tragic accident occurred early Wednesday when a speeding truck collided with a Mahishadal police patrol car on National Highway 116. The collision resulted in the deaths of Sub-Inspector Jayanta Ghoshal and West Bengal National Volunteer Force member Sheikh Hossain Khan. Constable Swapan Das was seriously injured, while the truck driver was apprehended after attempting to flee.
