Mumbai Crime: Bombay Scottish Teacher Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Minor Student In 5-Star Hotels Arrested

The POCSO court has extended the police custody of Bipasha Kumar (40), an English teacher of Bombay Scottish High School, Mahim, who has been accused of repeatedly having sex with a student. It is alleged that she used to take the student to different five-star hotels and forcibly have sex with him after serving liquor over the past year. The boy went into depression, and that is when his parents complained to the police.

Bipasha Kumar was arrested on Saturday and remanded to police custody till Wednesday. On Wednesday, the police asked for an additional day in their custody since they wanted to do a psychological profile of the teacher. The police said that so far, parents of other students have not approached them with complaints against Bipasha Kumar. The police are also questioning another woman who was on friendly terms with the victim.

The school principal, Sunita George, did not respond to questions from the FPJ.
