Just a while ago, Ramayana Part 1’s official glimpse made rounds on the internet and, needless to say, it wooed the audience and left them breathless.

Ramayana First Glimpse Explained

The 3-minute video, which apparently is the length of the trailer, captivated the audience and left them speechless. The video, titled Ramayana: The Introduction, features a chilling background score by AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. During these three minutes, the makers try to explain Hindu mythology, the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, and the need for a “war to end all wars.” The main aim of the film is to be seen as India’s pride, not just for this generation but for generations to come.

Ramayana Cast

Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayana has an ensemble cast, starting with Ranbir Kapoor, who will reprise the role of Lord Ram. For the role of Goddess Sita, the makers chose South’s famous face Sai Pallavi. For the intense role of Ravana, the makers selected India’s leading pan-India superstar and co-producer Yash.

The movie would be incomplete without Hanuman and Lakshman. For the role of Hanuman, Indian cinema’s enduring action hero Bobby Deol has been roped in, whereas Ravie Dubey will be seen in a refreshing new role as Lakshman, Rama’s loyal brother.

It’s a tale that has endured across millennia because it speaks to something deep and eternal within us. We are not simply making a film.
