Assistant Dist Attorney office opens at Nadaun
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the office building of the Assistant District Attorney at Nadaun, near here. The building has been constructed at cost of Rs 1.28 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for the upgrade of the Sera-Pakhrol-Manpul road, to be constructed at cost of Rs 7.61 crore with NABARD funds.
The Chief Minister disbursed the first installment of Rs 1 lakh each as part of the Rs 3 lakh housing grant given under the Mukhyamantri Sukh Aashray Yojana to Rohit Kumar of Baihli village, Rahul of Kuthiana village, Akshay Agnihotri of Pansai village and Deepak of Kargu Jagir village in the Nadaun constituency.
He handed over a marriage assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to Khushboo Thakur of Kalur village, Ravi Kumar of Khuyi Di Bhun village, Aakanksha of Kehdru village, Shikha of Sujanpur and Pradeep Kumar of Ree village. He also provided financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana to Anita Kumari of Kashmir village, Anjana Devi of Daad village and Heena of Weha village. Under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana, the assistance was given to Rabina Kumari of Mansai and Anita Devi of Panayali.
The Chief Minister provided 359 induction chullas to beneficiaries registered under the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. He awarded Rs 21,000 to Anjali Devi, a student of Government Degree College, Dhaneta, for securing the first position in Himachal Pradesh University and Rs 5,100 to Varun Sharma for his outstanding performance in cultural activities.
