"Your ancestors may have left the Ganga and Yamuna behind, but they carried the Ramayana in their hearts," he said, calling them “messengers of a timeless civilization.” The Prime Minister emphasized that these early migrants did not just bring labor, but values, resilience, and culture to a new land. The gathering resonated with traditional chants of "Jai Shri Ram" and heartfelt poetry that honored the legacy of faith carried across oceans. PM Modi also highlighted the Indian community’s vital contributions to Trinidad’s cultural, economic, and spiritual fabric.
