Devotees Throng Bageshwar Dham For Dhirendra Shastri’s 29th Birthday; This Is The Gift He Asked For
Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Today, marks 29th birthday of Bageshwar Dham Peethadheeshwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri who attained global attention for Sanatan over the years. Devotees from across the globe participated in the celebration.
One brick, instead of expensive gifts
Bageshwar Baba urged his devotees to gift him a brick instead of expensive gifts on his birth anniversary. A single donated brick would be contributed in the noble cause of construction of a cancer hospital.
He emphasised that collective efforts for a good cause can bring in major changes.
Precautions made after tragedy
Following the tragic incident on July 3, where a roof collapsed amidst heavy rain, which claimed a life and injured several devotees. The cultural events have been postponed.
The deceased was identified as Lala Shyamlal Kaushal who. Others, including women and children were injured and taken to Chhatarpur's District Hospital. Those who got injured were Soumya, Parul, Unnati, Aryan, and Kamla. The group of devotees came from Ayodhya to participate in Baba's birthday anniversary event.
On the occasion of Baba Bageshwar's birthday, pandals are being set up in open grounds at various places in the entire area, so that people do not face any kind of inconvenience.
The temple premises have been adorned with modern decorations. Lakhs of people coming to Bageshwar Dham on the occasion of Baba's Janmotsav will get preparations pure ghee-prasad.
Dishes including, pea paneer curry, pumpkin curry, chickpea curry pulao, semolina pudding and kheer will be served to all the attendees.
