Brother of Jagrup Rupa, Moosewala case shooter, shot dead in Amritsar area

A 28-year-old youth, Jugraj Singh, was shot dead in broad daylight on Saturday in Chanan ke village near Mehta in Amritsar.

Jugraj Singh was the brother of Jagrup Rupa, one of the shooters involved in the high-profile murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

According to sources, three unidentified assailants arrived in the village on a motorcycle and opened indiscriminate fire on Jugraj Singh at close range.

Eyewitnesses said that the assailants targeted Jugraj with precision, leaving him no chance of survival. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Police officials have initiated an investigation and are reviewing the CCTV footage for leads.
