UP: Man Arrested For Allegedly Spitting On Kanwad In Muzaffarnagar (VIDEO)
Muzaffarnagar: An outrage was seen by kanwariyas in Purkaji, Muzaffarnagar after a man named Usman spat on a kanwad. The incident happened when kawariyas took a pit stop to rest in Purkaji, a man walking by the kanwad spat on it, he is said to be mentally challenged and deaf. Kanwadis demanded strict action against the accused. They even tried to enter the house of the accused youth, but the police stopped them.

Anshul Sharma, son of Narendra Sharma, a resident of Rori village in Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad, was returning by walking from Haridwar since June 25 with 101 liters of Ganga water along with his sister Muskan with 31 liters of Ganga water and his friend Manish with 31 liters of Ganga water.
Anshul Sharma said that at three o'clock in the morning on Monday he had stopped in front of the Nagar Panchayat of Purkaji to rest. He had kept the Kanwad on the road. At six in the morning he left his sister Muskan and went to defecate nearby. Later, his sister told him on the phone that a young man had spit on her Kanwad.
Outrage By Kanwariyas
On learning about the incident, the Kanwariyas started creating a ruckus. Meanwhile, the police and officials tried to control them, but the Kanwariyas were not ready to settle. The agitated Kanwariyas tried to enter the house of the accused youth, but the police stopped them.
Detained And Apologized
After several hours, the situation calmed down when the police brought Ganga water from Haridwar. SP City Satyanarayan Prajapati interacted with the devotees and sought an apology from the accused through a video call. Police say that the accused is deaf and mentally challenged, and the help of a sign language expert is being taken to interrogate him.
