AMD unveils “Helios” rack-scale AI platform at OCP Summit, built on Meta’s open rack standard

AMD has unveiled its new rack-scale AI infrastructure platform, Helios, at the OCP Global Summit. Built on Meta's Open Rack Wide specification, Helios integrates AMD Instinct GPUs, EPYC CPUs, and Pensando networking for scalable, energy-efficient AI workloads. This reference design supports open compute standards and aims to accelerate the deployment of customized AI systems.
