Have you ever wondered what it really feels like inside the Bachchan household? Actor Kunal Kapoor, who is married to Amitabh Bachchan’s niece, Naina Bachchan, has finally shared a glimpse. In a recent interview, Kunal revealed that despite the celebrity status, the Bachchan household is very similar to any other Indian family.
While speaking to News 18, the actor said, “Well, it’s like any other household, honestly. It’s not very different from any other household.” From Amitabh Bachchan to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the Bachchan household includes some of the biggest names. Yet, Kunal insists that behind their celebrity status, they are very simple and down-to-earth.
Kunal tied the knot with Naina Bachchan in an intimate ceremony in Seychelles, back in 2015. Naina is the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan’s younger brother, Ajitabh Bachchan, and Ramola Bachchan. Ajitab, with his family, lives in London and prefers to stay away from the media glare. Apart from Naina, he has three other children- Bhim, Namrata, and Nilima.
While Kunal is an established actor, Naina, on the other hand, is a successful banker and choses to live a life away from the limelight. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in January 2022. The two share a close-knit bond with the Bachchans and are often spotted together at family gatherings.
Meanwhile, Kunal Kapoor will be next seen in one of the most-awaited projects in Indian cinema-Ramayana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and others. Kunal will be seen portraying the role of Lord Indra in the epic tale. Besides diving deep in Ramayana preparations, the actor’s recent on-screen appearance was in Jewel Thief, alongside Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat.
