'International Militant Fund’: Owaisi Calls Pakistan ‘Official Bheekmange’ As He Slams IMF Bailout
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a scathing attack on Pakistan, criticizing its economic mismanagement and alleged support for terrorism, while reaffirming the commitment of Indian Muslims to a unified India.
On the recent $1 billion IMF bailout package for Pakistan, Owaisi remarked, "...'ye official bheekmange hai'. They took a loan from the IMF of $1 billion. IMF is not the International Monetary Fund; they are giving the International Militant Fund to Pakistan. How did the USA, Germany, and Japan agree to this?..." He further added, "Forget leadership, they (Pakistan) don't even know how to run an economy. You people are sitting there and telling us what Islam is, but all you have are wrong policies to spoil the peace here and create conflict between Hindus and Muslims."
Addressing Pakistan’s stance on the two-nation theory, Owaisi asserted, "Pakistan conveniently forgets that there are more than 230 million Muslims living in India and our forefathers rejected the two-country theory. We despise, we rejected the two-nation theory proposed by Jinnah, and we accepted India as our country and will continue to stay here."
Criticizing Pakistan's regional policies, he said, "When Pakistan talks about the two-nation theory, why are they bombing Afghanistan border posts?...why are they bombing Iranian border posts?...Afghanis and Iranians are Muslims...it is the deep state of Pakistan, which only uses Islam as a facade to cover up all illegal activities and their promotion of terrorism. This is what they have been doing for the last 75 years against India."
Owaisi also highlighted incidents of violence allegedly backed by Pakistan, saying, "...when tourists went there (Pahalgam), the male members were asked to recite Kalma and those who failed were shot dead in front of the families. Can anyone imagine the pain these families will carry for the rest of their lives? It is high time this terrorism sponsored by Pakistan should come to an end, there should be a full stop."
In a call for global action, Owaisi urged for disarmament, stating, "We have to stand solid like a wall against a country (Pakistan) which is a threat to the whole world. At some point or another, the world leaders have to decide if this country should even be allowed to have nuclear weapons. The nuclear weapons in this country should be disarmed and destroyed."
Referring to recent cross-border violence, Owaisi claimed, "...They have killed the Imam of a Masjid in firing, Sikh Gurudwara was damaged, complete houses were damaged, people were lying injured on the roads. A civil servant was assassinated in Rajouri. They are sending drones and killing common people. They have damaged hospitals in Jammu. This is what Pakistan has always been doing. This is what they will continue to do."
