'Bahawalpur, Muridke And Muzaffarabad Camps Reduced To Dust': India's Tough Stance On Pakistan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a tough stance on the cross-border shelling and drone attacks from Pakistan and has directed clear actions in case of ceasefire violations, sources said on Sunday.
PM Modi has given clear directions to the armed forces on the cross border firing, saying "Wahan se goli chalegi, yahan se gola chalega" (They will fire bullets from there, we will respond with bombs from here.)
The remarks from the prime minister comes even as sources said that Operation Sindoor is far from over and if the Pakistani military fires, India will retaliate.
They said that the message India conveyed after hitting terror camps of Muridke and Bahawalpur, which are closely tied with ISI, is that New Delhi has not lost sight and we will hit you at the headquarters. India has also made it clear to the world that New Delhi cannot equate victims and perpetrators.
Sources said India achieved all three objectives with Operation Sindoor. On the military side, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had vowed to reduce Pakistan "to dust" — and the military was successful in destroying key targets in Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Muzaffarabad.
The sources said that New Delhi also linked the Indus Waters Treaty to cross-border terrorism, putting the agreement in abeyance until Pakistan ends terror activities. Psychologically, India scored a major success too. When it declared it would "strike deep inside," the military followed through, delivering a blow that hit "straight to the heart."
