Astrologer arrested from Kalaburagi for defrauding Bengaluru cop

Bengaluru police arrested astrologer Hemanth Bhat Janardhan in Kalaburagi for allegedly defrauding a police constable of over Rs 5 lakh. He promised to cure her health issues through rituals, claiming spirits were the cause. The constable, suffering from ailments, paid him for sessions involving bizarre practices.
