Support Pak shelling victims in Valley, BJP urges cadre

J&K BJP president Sat Sharma on Sunday asked the party cadre in Kashmir to connect with the victims of the recent Pakistani shelling and highlight the welfare measures being taken by the Centre.

Sharma chaired an organisational meeting at the BJP office in Srinagar. He was accompanied by BJP national secretary and MLA Narinder Singh, as well as J&K BJP general secretary and MLA DK Manyal.

BJP district president of Srinagar, Sheikh Salman, and other senior leaders from Srinagar constituency were present in the meeting. The primary agenda of the meeting was to mobilise the party cadre to help the Pak-shelling affected people and also to assess the current organisational structure, review on-ground activities and formulate a strategic roadmap to enhance party outreach and public engagement in the region.

While addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma motivated the party leaders to reach out consistently to the shelling affected families and stand with them in their adverse time. He also emphasised the importance of grassroots-level connectivity and urged party workers to engage closely with the people.

He said that it was BJP’s commitment for inclusive development, peace and progress in the region along with the welfare measures and stressed the need for sustained efforts in spreading the party’s message of good governance and national integration.

Narinder Singh, in his remarks, commended the role of BJP workers in Kashmir despite various challenges. He shared insights from the central leadership and encouraged party cadres to remain focused on public service, especially in the areas of education, youth empowerment, along with much needed welfare activities at this time.

DK Manyal also addressed the meeting and laid emphasis on strengthening the booth-level organisation. He called upon party leaders to hold public outreach programmes along with the regular meetings, to ensure party connectivity and responsiveness.
