THIS Pawan Kalyan co-star did 60 pushups before each shot to look invincible in a Prabhas film!

In an industry where many actresses are often reduced to ornamental “flower pot” roles, few manage to break the mold and bring raw power and intensity to the screen. One such performer recently revealed that in a Prabhas-starrer, she would do 50–60 pushups before every shot inside her caravan, to channel an invincible energy. It wasn’t just showmanship - it was preparation.

Salaar: Power, Brotherhood, and Bloodshed

Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire is an explosive action spectacle headlined by Tollywood Rebel Star Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy in key roles. Set in the violent, power-hungry world of Khansaar, the film explores themes of friendship, betrayal, and survival in a world ruled by brute force.

Sriya Reddy’s Fierce Turn as Radha Rama Mannar

Among the film’s strong lineup, Sriya Reddy stood out as Radha Rama Mannar, the daughter of Raja Mannar, played by Jagapathi Babu. Her presence was striking, commanding attention in every frame, despite sharing screen space with giants. Critics and fans praised her fierce screen presence, calm menace, and the ability to hold her ground in the testosterone-filled world of Khansaar.

60 Pushups Before Every Take!

During a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Sriya revealed that her secret to staying in character was her physical ritual.

“Before every take in Salaar, I used to do 50-60 pushups in my caravan, in full costume. It was my way of feeling powerful and prepared,” she said.

The practice wasn’t about fitness, it was psychological conditioning. Those pushups helped her channel the aggression, stability, and strength that her role demanded.

Known for powerful performances in films like Thimiru, Black, Kanchivaram, and Veyil, Sriya has always gravitated toward complex, layered characters rather than ornamental roles.
