Not S-400, India is developing an air defense system, which will turn enemy weapons into ashes in seconds

India-Pakistan tensions: When Pakistan’s missiles and drones entered India, the Indian air defense system destroyed them in the sky itself. This is the result of powerful technology, due to which the enemies could not do anything.

India has bought the S-400 missile system from Russia, which is already very powerful. But now the country itself is building an even more dangerous air defense system, its name is ERADS.

This system is also called XRSAM or PGLRSAM, which is being developed by DRDO under Project Kush. It will be a long-range anti-attack weapon that can work in all weather conditions.

ERADS is being developed in such a way that it can destroy any missile, drone or fighter jet flying in the air in a moment. It will foil every move of the enemy.

Its power will be more than S-400, because more missiles can be fired simultaneously. Hundreds of missiles will simultaneously destroy enemy targets in the air.

The advanced radar system installed in it can detect every activity up to 400 kilometers away. This fire control radar remains active every second and identifies the intentions of the enemy.

Apart from cruise and ballistic missiles, this defense system will have the power to destroy fighter jets and AEWC systems as well. This means that the enemy will get a befitting reply in the air itself.

According to the report, this system will hit its target with 90% accuracy. Till now only America and Russia had such powerful technology.

This project was approved in 2022 and in 2023, DRDO was given an order to make 20-20 units. A total of Rs 21 thousand crore will be spent on this.

According to the plan, it is to be inducted into the army by 2028, but if there is an emergency need, it can be deployed earlier as well. This will bring revolutionary changes in India’s security.
